WITH YOUR PROJECT At Stone Interiors Ltd, our first priority is to ensure that your project involving stonework is a success. We are happy to work with architects, designers, builders and tradesmen to ensure that all interfaces with stone are properly planned and executed. Our involvement in projects, especially with stone bathrooms, should be as early as possible so that floor levels, finished wall thicknesses, plumbing designs and sequencing can all be decided with minimal disruption and cost. With stone counter tops, we prefer to template our own installations
so that we can survey access, joint locations, overhangs and fixing
details. For kitchen worktops and vanity unit tops with undermount
sinks, these should be plumbed in prior to our templating. This
ensures an exact location and means that the sink is supported independently
of our bonding to the stone. It also means that the sink can be
used between templating and installation. Please ensure that the
decision-maker (for draining grooves, material choice and finish,
edge details etc..) is present at the time of templating. |
